Dull tiles and dark grout lines make the cleanest home look grubby. Our experienced cleaners use specialised processes to lift the grime out of floors, bathrooms, showers and kitchens, and bring back the original finish.
Tile and grout cleaning is part of what Prestige does. As the name says, we clean any and all types of tiles, at home or in the office.
For floor tiles, bathrooms and toilets, we use specialised cleaning processes, carried out by experienced cleaners who know not just a thing or two about tiles, but a whole lot more.
Grout is porous, so it quietly soaks up dirt, grease and soap scum until the lines turn dark. A proper clean lifts that ground-in grime out, and the whole floor looks newer.

Our method
The 6-step Prestige tile & grout clean
From a small ensuite to a whole tiled office floor, every job gets the same careful routine.
01/ 06Inspect & test
01
Inspect & test the tiles
We identify the tile and grout type (ceramic, porcelain or natural stone), check for cracked or missing grout, and test our solution on a small area first.
02
Sweep & prepare
Loose dirt and grit are swept and vacuumed up, edges and corners are cleared, and nearby surfaces are protected before any cleaning solution goes down.
03
Pre-treat the grout
A grout-specific, eco-friendly cleaner is worked into the lines and left to dwell, breaking down the grease, soap scum and grime that turn grout dark.
04
Machine scrub & agitate
Rotary machines and grout brushes scrub the tile surface and every grout line, loosening dirt from the texture of the tile and deep in the porous grout.
05
Rinse & extract
The loosened grime is rinsed away and the dirty water extracted, not spread around, leaving tiles and grout clean and residue-free.
06
Dry, seal & final check
Floors are left as dry as possible, an optional grout sealer can go on to keep dirt out, and we check the result with you before we go.
Why clean your tiles & grout
Brighter. Cleaner. Healthier.
Mopping cleans the surface. Here's what a professional tile and grout clean does that a mop can't.
01
Grout back to its true colour
Mops push dirty water straight into the grout lines, which is why they darken year after year. Specialised scrubbing and extraction lifts that ground-in grime out, so the whole floor looks brighter and newer.

More hygienic

What we clean
Every tile. Every room.
Kitchen and living-area floors, bathrooms, showers, toilets, laundries and outdoor patios, at home or in the office.

Usually, yes. Grout is porous, so it soaks up dirt, grease and soap scum and goes dark over time. Our specialised cleaning lifts that ground-in grime out of the grout lines, and most grout comes up dramatically lighter. Grout that is stained right through or crumbling may need regrouting, and we'll tell you honestly.
Yes, when it's done right. Natural stone is sensitive to acidic cleaners, so we check the tile type first and use stone-safe, pH-neutral products on marble, travertine and limestone.
Usually straight away, or within about an hour once any remaining moisture has dried. We leave the floor clean and as dry as possible before we go.
Sealing is optional, but recommended. A penetrating grout sealer helps stop dirt and spills soaking back in, so your grout stays cleaner for longer. Just ask when you book.
