Stained, dull or discoloured?

With constant use, the upholstery on a lounge, sofa, couch, chair or even a beanbag gets stained, discoloured and dirty, and oxidation can set in too.

Reviving upholstery and giving it a new lease of life is something we've mastered. Whatever the material, fabric or leather, we use specific techniques and clean it accordingly.

We pre-treat the parts that are really stained and dirty, then follow up with a detailed clean of the whole piece, so it looks and feels fresh again.

Our method

The 6-step Prestige upholstery clean

From a single armchair to a full lounge suite, every piece gets the same careful routine.

  1. 01

    Inspect & test the fabric

We check whether it's fabric or leather, read the care label, note stains and worn areas, and test colourfastness on a hidden spot before anything else touches it.

  2. 02

    Vacuum & prepare

Cushions come off and every seam, crease and crevice is vacuumed, so loose dirt, crumbs and pet hair are out before any moisture goes on.

  3. 03

    Pre-treat stains

The parts that are really stained and dirty, like armrests, headrests and seat fronts, get an eco-friendly pre-treatment that breaks down spills, body oils and grime.

  4. 04

    Detailed deep clean

Fabric is cleaned with a hand tool using hot-water extraction or a gentler low-moisture method; leather gets a pH-balanced clean. Dirt is lifted out, not pushed deeper.

  5. 05

    Condition & protect

Leather is conditioned to keep it supple and stop it cracking. Fabric pile is brushed and groomed so it dries evenly and feels soft.

  6. 06

    Dry & final check

We go over every piece with you before we leave. Fabric is dry in up to 4 hours, and leather is usually ready to sit on straight away.

Why clean your lounge

Fresher. Cleaner. Longer-lasting.

Your lounge is the most-used piece of furniture in the house. Here's what a professional clean does for it.

01

A healthier place to sit

Lounges soak up body oils, sweat, crumbs, pet dander and dust mites every day. A deep clean pulls them out of the fabric, so the spot your family relaxes on is genuinely clean, not just clean-looking.

Recommended every 12–18 months

05

06

Colour back, life extended

Yes. Fabric and leather need different techniques, so we check the material first and clean it accordingly: hot-water extraction or a gentler low-moisture clean for fabric, and a pH-balanced clean followed by conditioning for leather.

Up to about 4 hours, depending on the fabric and the humidity on the day. Leather is usually ready to use straight away. Good airflow, such as an open window or a fan, speeds drying up.

Most food, drink, pet and everyday body-oil marks lift out with pre-treatment and a detailed clean, and dull, discoloured fabric usually brightens noticeably. A few stains, like ink, dye transfer or bleach, may lighten rather than disappear, and we'll tell you honestly before we start.

Yes. We use eco-friendly, quality products and rinse them out thoroughly. We test an inconspicuous spot first and use gentler methods on delicate fabrics.
